Tourism Assessment & Strategy

Solimar provides one of the most comprehensive tourism assessments in the industry. Our consulting experience and marketing expertise allows Solimar to combine the assessment process with multimedia and data collection to develop effective tourism strategies and immediate marketing tools.

Solimar's assessment team consists of individuals with the core skills and industry experience required to develop tourism destinations. This team brings strategy, research, marketing, product development and business management experience to every project. Together the team uses a collaborative process that includes all stakeholders in the tourism assessment. Rather then tell a community what we believe it should offer, we prefer to assist the community by listening to stakeholders' ideas about the services they want to offer, and then working together to determine what they are best positioned to deliver. Solimar uses George Washington University and Conservation International's Rapid Assessment Tool to:

While on site performing the tourism assessment, Solimar also captures the video footage and photography that will later be used to create collateral for sales and marketing campaigns such as virtual tours and website and brochure copy. This media and marketing copy becomes the foundation to develop tools not only for the destination but also for the individual tourism businesses, travel trade partners, and press.
